To Pause and Reflect

 

Sometimes life gets so busy

there is not enough time

 just to pause and reflect 

on the things that are important to us

I think that is why

I made so many images 

of the reflections

in the McIntyre River

my camera, Mother Nature, the universe

was trying to tell me 

to take a deep breath, really look at the beauty around me

and to reflect on living life in a meaningful  way

to see that life is not always as it appears

and maybe that is good

that there are other ways of being and living

just like this otter's den that is so well hidden

along the river

Sometimes it is good just to drift

sometimes you don't need a destination

 

There is no need to rush along

Just stop and muse
